Machakos governor Dr.Alfred Mutua casting his vote(source. Facebook)
Kenyans on Facebook were left stunned after Machakos governor Dr.Alfred Mutua posted a photo of him casting his vote.
Two days ago Mutua announced the withdrawal of his candidate John Mutua Katuku from the race.
According to Mutua, the decision was arrived at after President Uhuru Kenyatta's call for Kamba unity.
Kenyans were left stunned as to which candidate Mutua was voting for since his stepped down.
"I have today exercised my democratic right and voted for my candidate of choice for the Machakos Senatorial by-election at Mathatani Primary School. I encourage the people of Machakos to turn out in large numbers and vote.
God bless Machakos, God bless Kenya," read his post.
Some of them thought the governor actually voted for the Wiper candidate Agnes Kavindu.
This is because during his speech on Tuesday he said that the aim was to block other non-Kamba parties from gaining ground in Ukambani like UDA.
