President Museveni's Lawyers Mocks NUP Party Boss Bobi Wine

Lawyers representing President Yoweri Museveni have mocked the National Unity Platform (NUP) ex-presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi over forged affidavits.

This was following the court order by the Supreme Court to led the NUP boss to withdraw his petition that was seeking to challenge President Museveni's win in the recently concluded elections.

Kiryowa Kiwanuka, one of the lawyers representing the Ugandan head of state, however, has said that 10 of the affidavits that were filed by Robert Kyagulanyi, also called Bobi Wine were full of falsehood and forged signatures and that they were ready to shame the NUP boss in court.

But when one of the lawyers representing the petitioner, Medard Lubega Ssegona, was reached for a comment, he dismissed the claims (allegations) arguing that their signatures were signed by genuine witnesses.

Bobi Wine filed an application, around two weeks ago, to the Supreme Court to allow him to withdraw the petition that he filed on Feb 1st after he claimed that he lacked trust in the panel handling his petition.
