Azimio la Umoja Running mate Martha Karua has reacted to her recents challenges while on her campaign trails in Mt Kenya region. Karua was heckled on Wednesday while heading to Meru and was also subjected to the same on Thursday morning at Embu.

The aforementioned regions are known as Ruto’s strongholds hence the cold reception she was accorded. However, in other regions such as Kirinyaga and other surrounding areas, the Iron lady was warmly welcomed.

Reacting to the cold reception which included heckling and insults by residents, the Narc-K party leader urged the residents to avoid being used by politicians.

She also urged politicians to practice tolerance despite the different views and stands they have against each other.

Karua stated,’ No matter where you stand, we can disagree without insults and heckling. Because after August 9th, we will have to still live with one another.

She was speaking at Chogoria and Chuka Tharaka Nithi County.
