3 dangerous birds and snakes that can kill a full grown Lion in a death battle


Lions are symbols of strength and courage and have been celebrated throughout history for these characteristics. They are also common symbols for royalty and stateliness, hence the phrase 'king of the jungle'. Ancient Egyptians venerated lions as their war deities due to their strength, power and fierceness.

But here are dangerous birds that can kill a full grown lion in a death battle...

1) Ostrich.

A frightened ostrich can achieve a speed of 72.5 kilometers (45 miles) per hour. If cornered, it can deliver dangerous kicks capable of killing lions and other large predators. Deaths from kicks and slashes are rare, with most attacks resulting from humans provoking the birds.

Ostriches have powerful legs. Although they may be known for their ability to use those legs to run (up to 31 mph for long distances or 43 mph for short distances), their legs are strong enough to help them fight and kill a lion.

2) Cassowary.

Cassowaries are curious, and they do attack from time to time, but attacks on humans are relatively ... If cornered, it can deliver dangerous kicks capable of killing lions and other large predators.

3) Eagle.

Eagles can carry 4-5 pounds maximum. If there is a faceoff between an Eagle and a Lion there are chances the Eagle will come out the victor.


Viper Family Snakes: 

According to forest officers, snakes of the viper wiper family, which spew haemotoxic venom, could have bitten the lion. Russell’s viper, saw-scaled viper are snakes of this family found in Gujarat and their venom, once it enters the bloodstream of a victim, can cause hemorrhage and can even lead to death.

King Cobra: 

King Cobra can raise two-third of its body to bite a lion. An adult cobra can raise its body capable enough to bite an average height human on his chest. Its sharp fangs can easily bite a lion and poison him.
