A school in the Bawku West District in the Upper East Region have been competing with Snakes for Space in their school apartment. Due to lack of proper school building in the school, the school block has worn out which makes it a convenient place for snakes to dwell.

Speaking to tv3 the upper east regional minister Frank Fuseini Adonko said due to the deplorable nature of the school they are going to take the necessary steps to building a good infrastructure for the school.

The assistant head teacher of the school Mr Augustine Abodingo said that due to the poor nature of the school building the pupils including the teachers have been staying there in fear because snakes do appear in the building most oftenly.

This has been a big blow to the teaching and learning in the school. Mr Augustine added due to the lack of proper structure learning has been affected negatively because there is no structure black boards are not also there which is a problem to the school and the community as a whole.

The school management including the community are therefore pleading on the government and all stakeholders to save them from the snakes.
