Egbedore is a Local Government Area in Osun State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Awo at7°46′00″N 4°24′00″E. It has an area of 270 km 2 and a population of 74,435 at the 2006 census. The postal code of the area is 232.
Egbedore LGA is mainly an Agrarian area with a number of crops such as cocoa, cassava, rice and maize cultivated in the area. Egbedore LGA is also home to several markets which include the Aje International market where a wide variety of commodities are bought and sold.
