Law Society of Kenya CEO Mercy Wambua has been thrown into deep mourning following the death of a popular lawyer Kimani Muhoro.
She describes Kimani as a mentor who encouraged them. He has left an indelible mark in the legal profession.
She went on to send her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
"It is difficult and disheartening to say goodbye. Senior Kimani Muhoro has left a huge gap in the legal profession. He mentored and encouraged many of us. My condolences to the family, friends and colleagues. May the Lord the soul of Senior Kimani's soul in peace."
Kimani took his last breath two days after claiming that "am down with third wave, need your prayers" on his social media page.
It's evident that he succumbed to Covid-19 related complications.
This is happening at the same time the country is recording high cases of Covid-19.
Kenyans on Tuesday morning woke up to the death of Kiambu MCA Eliud Ngugi. He succumbed to Covid-19 while receiving treatment at Kenyatta university hospital.
