1, University of Oxford, this university is located in the United kingdom and one of the oldest universities in the country as well as one of the best in the world. There are roughly over 20,000 students at this university including undergraduates and postgraduates. Also, about 95 per cent of Oxford graduates get employed or move to further their postgraduate studies within six months of their degree.
2, Stanford university, the large campus is able to accommodate 97 per cent of the undergraduates and up to 700 university buildings, including museums, gardens and relaxation centers. There are about 7,000 undergraduate and 9,000 postgraduate students at this university. This university is said to have produced many entrepreneurs.
3, Harvard university, this university was established in 1636, it is known to be the oldest university in the country and is also one of the most prestigious universities in the world. It has topped the Times Higher Education Reputation Ranking for nine years consecutively. Thirteen president of the united States including John F. Kennedy in 1956 have obtained their degrees from this prestigious institution.
4, California institute of technology, This institution was founded in 1891 and assumed its current name in 1920. The university is known for its small size as only about 1,000 undergraduates and 1,250 postgraduates are enrolled there. This institution is known to be a difficult but wonderful place to study.
5, Massachusetts institute of technology, this institution has it's origin in the 19th century and it's campus located in Cambridge Massachusetts includes 18 student residences, many gardens and public works of art. Admission to the university is extremely selective as only 8 per cent of the applicants were selected.
