The wife of the president, her excellency the First Lady of Ghana Rebecca Akufo-Addo stormed Gambaga and Ghanaians have reacted to this for sometime now. The Gambaga is known as one of the places in Ghana where their cultural practices receive a lot of reaction.
The First Lady saw the need to appreciate the efforts of mothers and how important they are to humanity. The Gambaga is a place where most of its women are either referred to as witches or not much regarded because of growing or an established superstitious belief that the old are witches.
The Mother’s Day was an opportunity to do something nice for them and this is what the First Lady did as she stormed the Gambaga township. In a post shared by her to social media, she seemed very interested in the comfort of these women and showed a lot of care about them.
