Mukuruweini member of parliament and a a vocal politician Kabando Wa Kabando has strongly condemned calls by the prosecution to bar the media from covering Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru's testimony.

Penning his thoughts in a post on his twitter account, the vocal politician claims that that is a wrong decision citing that it will an attempt to cover-up.
He went ahead to say that a plot to emasculate Kenyan Judiciary violates the constitution adding that chapter 4, Bill of Rights section 33, 34, 35 provides for access to information and media freedom.
Kabando has said that court proceedings should be live on all media and unhindered saying that the truth should set the innocent free.

The prosecution had asked court to bar media from covering Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru's testimony as a witness in sh 791 NYS scam case claiming fear of misreporting.
