The Catholic leaders in Kisii county have returned the 100k shillings that were donated by Dagoretti member of parliament Hon. Simba Arati 3 days after he donated them. According to the Catholic leaders, the money was sent back to Arati after showing a sign of disrespect towards the church by walking out of the church.
"Simba Arati showed disrespect towards the church in the previous function that we had invited him simply because he was denied the opportunity to address the congregation that had attended. We can't tolerate that behavior and that why we have agreed to return the money back to him," said one of the Catholic leaders. So far, the Kisii county gubernatorial aspirant Simba Arati has been returned to him by the church. However, he has claimed that he had contributed more than 100k with his team that had accompanied him to the function.
