Pirates' impressive run in defense comes to an end.

Orlando Pirates on Sunday evening lost a home game in the CAF Confederations Cup 2nd leg semi-final against Libyan outfit Al Ahli Tripoli. The Buccaneers had won the first leg by 2-0 and had one foot in the final of the tournament.

Heading to the second leg, goalkeeper Richard Ofori held a magnificent record of not conceding in open play in the tournament this season especially on home soil. Unfortunately that run was ended when Tripoli scored a late winner on Sunday but was nothing short of a consolation as the home side held on to win the tie with aggregate score of 2-1.

Next destination Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Nigeria where they will meet RSB Berkane to determine the Confederations cup Champions of 2021/22 season. We don't have to wait long as the Final will be this Friday 20th of May with first place up for grabs for the South Africans, possibly their last chance of getting silverware this season.
