Abdul Majeed Waris

Abdul Majeed Waris is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Strasbourg and the Ghanaian national team. Born in Tamale, Waris started his career at the Ghanaian Right to Dream Academy when he was twelve.

He moved to England and joined Hartpury College, while simultaneously gaining a place at the Nike Academy, where he would go on to feature in the reserves side at Forest Green Rovers. In October 2009, Waris signed a four-year contract with Swedish Allsvenskan side BK Häcken for an undisclosed fee.

He made his début in March 2010 as a substitute for Dominic Chatto, in a 4–2 home win against Trelleborgs FF. In May 2012, he netted his first hat-trick, scoring five goals, in a 6–0 home win against IFK Norrköping. As a result, he became the first player in Allsvenskan to score five goals in one match in the 21st century.

He also became the first Ghanaian to score five goals in single top-flight game in Europe as well as becoming the leading goalscorer in the 2012 Allsvenskan with 12 goals in nine games. In conclusion of the Allsvenskan season, Waris was named the Swedish Premier League's player of the year, which GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi quoted: "His achievements have brought honour to our country."

His performance at Häcken earned him a transfer speculation by being linked with Bundesliga clubs, such as Werder BremenHamburger SVSaint-ÉtienneCatania and Arsenal.

Samuel Afum

Samuel Afum (born December 24, 1990) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a forward. In Ghana he played for Hearts of Oak. In the 2009–10 season he was Ghana Premier League joint top scorer with 13 goals.

In the following season he signed for Egyptian newly promoted side Smouha Sporting Club. In his second season with the club, he scored 7 goals, making him topscorer of Smouha, before the cancellation of the Egyptian Premier League.

He was also the eleventh top-scorer in the Egyptian League in 2012. In January 2013 he was transferred to Swiss club Young Boys for an undisclosed fee. Afum then played for Egyptian side Wadi Degla.

In July 2018 he returned to Europe this time by signing with Serbian side FK Spartak Subotica. In December 2018, Afum was signed by FC Ilves. His departure from the club was announced at the end of June 2019, after getting his contract terminated by mutual consent.

Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus (born 2 August 2000) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a forward and midfielder for Eredivisie club Ajax and the Ghana national team.

Kudus arrived at Danish club Nordsjælland from the Ghanaian Right to Dream Academy, which he joined at the age of 12, in January 2018 together with two teammates, Ibrahim Sadiq and Gideon Mensah.

Kudus made his official debut for Nordsjælland only three days after his 18th birthday, in a 2–0 defeat against Brøndby IF. He played from the first minute as a striker, but was replaced in the half-time. With his debut, he became the ninth youngest to make his debut in the history of the club.

On 16 July 2020, Kudus signed for Eredivisie club Ajax for €9 million, on a five-year contract. He made his official debut for the club on 20 September in a league match against RKC Waalwijk. Head coach Erik ten Hag subsequently called Kudus as a player with "incredible potential".

He continued his strong performances, scoring one goal and providing three assists in his first three appearances. His debut in the UEFA Champions League for the home match against Liverpool on 21 October, however, was disastrous. Kudus was subbed out after only 6 minutes, as he suffered a meniscus injury, keeping him out for several months.

Jeffrey Schlupp

Jeffrey Schlupp is a professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Crystal Palace and the Ghana national team as a left back or winger. He started his career as a striker. Schlupp is known for his extreme pace and athleticism, which allows him to be a versatile option and able to play anywhere on the left wing. Former teammate Andrej Kramarić once said of Schlupp, "I've never played with a more powerful player than Jeffrey Schlupp, such power and speed like I've never seen before."

Schlupp started as the left back during Leicester's flying start to the season, although he later moved into a midfield role as the season progressed. Schlupp scored his first goal of the season in the 2–1 away victory against Norwich City.

He was ruled out for six weeks in December with a hamstring injury. After returning from the injury Schlupp had a strong impact on Leicester City's season, and contributed hugely to Leicester's unlikely title triumph.

As a result of his successful season Schlupp was named Leicester's Young Player of the Year for the second year running beating Demarai Gray and Ben Chilwell to the award.

On 13 January 2017, after only four league appearances for Leicester City in 2016–17, he joined Premier League club Crystal Palace for a reported £12 million. His first appearance for the club ended in defeat by three goals to nil to London rivals West Ham United.

Latif Blessing

Latif Atta Blessing is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or forward for Los Angeles FC in Major League Soccer. In 2013, Latif Blessing joined the Liberty Professionals youth team in Accra. He was soon promoted to the senior side for the Ghana Premier League but mainly appeared on the bench for the side. Blessing received particularly good reviews for his performance during a Premier League match against Asante Kotoko on 21 June 2015. In that match, he scored in the 21st minute to equalize before providing two assists, leading Liberty Professionals to a 3–1 victory.

During the 2016 season, Blessing scored six goals in his first eight games. After his hat-trick on the final day of the season against Bechem United, Blessing would go on to finish the season as the top scorer in the league with 17 goals. His performance during the season was recognized in December 2016 when Blessing won the best player of the league award by the Ghana Football Association.

In January 2017, Blessing signed with Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer in the United States after being scouted and recommended by US based Italian agent/scout Simone Ghirlanda of Pan American Calcio. He made his MLS debut on 11 March 2017 against FC Dallas. On 24 March 2017, Blessing was loaned to Swope Park Rangers, scoring in their match against OKC Energy FC.

Blessing's first MLS goals came in a brace on 13 May 2017 in a 2–2 draw in Orlando versus Orlando City. On 20 September 2017, Blessing scored in the 2017 U.S. Open Cup Final, as Sporting Kansas City won the 2017 U.S. Open Cup.

In December 2017, Blessing was selected by Los Angeles FC with the second selection of the 2017 MLS Expansion Draft. He made his debut for the club as a starter in their first MLS match, a 1–0 victory at Seattle Sounders.
