On Saturday, 4th December 2021, I welcomed the President of the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, to Jubilee House, the seat of our nation's presidency.
President Ramaphosa is in Ghana for a 2-day State Visit, aimed at deepening the bilateral cooperation and the ties of friendship between Ghana and South Africa.
Where the two presidents highlighted the need to collaborate on traveling bans other countries have placed in other countries baring them from traveling into their country.
Ramaphosa cleared the air stating that the borders and country of South Africa are always open to Ghanaians and other nationals on the continent.
On Saturday, 4th December 2021, His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and President Cyril Ramaphosa were in Juaben, in the Ashanti Region, as part of his 2-day State Visit to Ghana, to witness the display of rich Ghanaian culture at the 50th-anniversary celebration of the enstoolment of the Juabenhene, the current Chair of the Council of State.
Cultural exchanges between the peoples of Ghana and South Africa, both of whom are acknowledged to have outstanding, artistic talent in several areas, can only serve to strengthen the relations of amity and solidarity between us.
