Transportation is one of the vital needs of a student. In higher institutions, Students have to move from one place to another i.e from their lodges to their departments or classes and vice versa, and this may be remote. Trekking may be exhausting and hence the student may not get the most out of the lectures.

Ahmadu Bello University is the largest and a well-known federal university in Nigeria. It is located in the Northern part of the country, Zaria, Kaduna State. It was established in 1962.

Ahmadu Bello University comprises 96 academic departments, 12 faculties, and 12 research institutes and specialized centers, in addition to the Africa Center of Excellence (ACE) for Neglected Tropical Diseases and Forensic Biotechnology.

It is enriched with beauty and a serene environment for study and research.

The University is so big that commercial motorcycles were allowed to operate inside conveying students from one point to another. But that has been terminated due to security motives. Commercial tricycles are in operation but not enough for the large population of students; as students still get stranded.

The introduction of Campus Bicycle sharing has improved mobility and mitigated the problem of being stranded transportation-wise.

It first began at the Lagos state university (LASU). This launch marks its second location in the Nigerian institution.

It a is cheap, easy, and environmentally-friendly means of commuting students around the campus. Its Eco-friendliness promotes healthy living and tolerates the environment.

It is powered by an android app which the users can use to survey for a bike close to them and book it. The user is provided with a QR code with which to scan and.

This has gone a long way to solving the problem of lack of or inadequate transportation means for students and others that are eligible for the package.
