Manchester United are currently making good moves in the transfer market. They have just completed the signing of England winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. The club is still in talks with two highly rated players, Rafael Varane from Real Madrid and Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes.
However, their plans are likely to be disoriented after Real Madrid made an approach for one of their highly rated fullback after a scintillating performance at the Euros.
Recent reports suggest that Madrid have approached United with an offer for Portuguese full back Diogo Dalot in a bid to bolster their options in defense.
New Madrid manager Carlo Anceloti is a huge admirer of Dalot. He tried to sign him when he was at Everton but the move never materialized. Now he is at Madrid and thinks that they are a much attractive option for Dalot.
This will likely jeopardize United plans who wanted to keep Dalot as a right back option to push Aaron Wan Bissaka. Madrid will have to rival AC Milan for Dalot's signature. Milan are also looking to bring him back to San Siro after he impressed them while on loan last season.
A bidding war will likely ensue between both clubs. Do you think United should cash in on Dalot or retain him until they find a worthy replacement?
