Raila Odinga is in Coast for a political tour. The former prime minister Raila Odinga graced various events in Kwale and Kilifi counties before proceeding to Mombasa county. He is accompanied by various ODM leaders led by Suna East legislator Junet Mohammed and COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli.
Today morning he hosted Mount Kenya members of parliament for a consultative meeting in Mombasa. The leaders met for a breakfast meeting in Mombasa. The key agenda of the meeting remains unknown. Raila Odinga is in the region to popularize his ODM party and Building Bridges initiative.
The meeting was attended by various influential leaders from Mount Kenya region. Leaders present includes nominated legislator Maina Kamanda, majority leader Amos Kimunya, CAS Racheal Shebesh and other lawmakers. The ODM party leader met various leaders and governors yesterday evening for a consultative meeting.
Raila Odinga's tour comes days after deputy president William Ruto toured the region to popularize his presidential bid. He was accompanied by various Coastal leaders led by Nyali legislator Mohammed Ali and former senator Omar Hassan. The leaders are close allies of deputy president William Ruto.
