Kaizer Chiefs Prodigy Returns Home After Loan Deal Ended Prematurely

Date: 22/01/2022

Kaizer Chiefs prodigy Keletso Sifama who was supposed to spend a one-year stint on loan in the GladAfrica Championship was sent back to his parent club Kaizer Chiefs after Pretoria Callies FC unexpectedly released 23 players from their squad. Keletso Sifama who plays as a midfielder, only served out 6 months of his one-year loan spell at the club, as he return to Chiefs with his loan stint ending prematurely.

Keletso Sifama's performances for Pretoria Callies was exactly what the club needed but its just unfortunate that he was part of the 23 players who left the club. Pretoria Callies released the players because the club didn't receive a return in investments as expected, and had to clear room for financial improvement. According to reports the club released mostly players who are high earners in the squad to cut on the expenditure.

Despite being sacked halfway through his loan stint with Pretoria Callies, Keletso Sifama did remarkably well as he scored two goals in ten matches for the club on loan since he joined them last year from Kaizer Chiefs. Sifama made his way back to Chiefs, and it's not clear yet if the club will look for another loan club for the player to spend the rest of the season with.

Keletso Sifama, 19, is a great midfielder with an eye for goal and would fit in perfectly with any club who would be interested in having him on loan. There could also be a possibility that Sifama could play in the Diski Challenge or with Kaizer Chiefs first team which will not be easy unless the club is satisfied with his performance while out on loan. The most likely option would be that the club send him out on loan again.
