Kaizer Chiefs focal midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange has conceded he hasn't yet hit top stuff since showing up at the club last July.

Nange is relied upon to secure the Chiefs midfield when they have Golden Arrows in an association match at FNB Stadium tomorrow (7.30pm). The 30-year-old midfielder hasn't been altogether happy with his commitments since he showed up at Naturena. Nange has quite recently gotten once from 19 trips across all competitions.

"If I somehow happened to rate myself out of 10 since I joined the club, I would give myself a five or a six. I think I bring to the table more than I have done. I accept I can improve... I'm not yet at my best. I need to ensure that I score more objectives and give more helps,'' Nange told Sowetan yesterday.

"Last season I scored five objectives [from 23 games] in all rivalries [for Stellenbosch] and during my days at Black Leopards I used to score six to seven objectives a season, so that is the reason I say I haven't exactly done that well here at Chiefs yet I am striving to arrive at the level where I will positively say I believe I am progressing admirably.''

Chiefs' last game was a 2-1 win over rivals Orlando Pirates on March 5, significance when they face Abafana Bes'thende tomorrow they would have had a 13-sunrise. Nange is resolved the break hasn't dulled their force.

"We've been doing serious preparation and we additionally played a couple of friendlies, so we're accept the energy is still there. The break assisted us with amending a portion of the missteps we'd been doing. The mentors likewise evaluated a couple of mixes. We had sufficient opportunity to prepare for Arrows, that is the reason we are certain that we'll progress admirably,'' Nange said.

Dissimilar to his mentor Stuart Baxter, who spread the word about it he accepts they are the main side who can challenge pioneers Mamelodi Sundowns in the title battle, Nange wasn't quick to be brought into the title talk.

"We are zeroing in on each game that comes our direction. We can't be discussing titles since there are still a ton of games to play,'' Nange demanded.
