A Nigerian professor named Charles Egbu has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University in the United Kingdom. The Nigerian professor studied and also taught in the same university, he will be taking over from Margaret House, who held the position for seven years.
It was announced by the University that Professor Charles Egbu will take over from Margaret House. Margaret House the incumbent Vice Chancellor of the university has held the position of the Vice Chancellor of the university for seven years.
It was also reported that Professor Charles Egbu will take over the position on November 1st 2020.
The Nigerian professor who was born in Anambra state of Nigeria has expressed his excitement over the position given to him and has promised to consolidate on the university's long history.
