Son of former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba hopes to replicate the feet of his father by representing the Nigeria national team in the future.
The youngster who has been impressive for his team in the ongoing Nigeria Football Coaches Association NFCA, Kwara Youth League believes it won't be easy but trust his qualities as a good shotstopper.
"The Super Eagles number 1 jersey is my dream, I hope to be the first choice goalkeeper for my country when I grow much older."
"Although I am aware it won't be easy because only the best get to that position but I am very confident with my qualities and am sure of getting with consistency in my team."
Daniel who is yet to concede a goal at the Kwara Youth League in 6 games believes he is going to extract some experience from his Dad.
"My Dad has been there and am sure he will share some of his experience with me and how I can get there."
The Kwara Football Academy shotstopper is thinking of representing Nigeria at the U17's level for the upcoming world tournament.
"My focus now is to get to the National U17 side when they resume camp for the next FIFA U17 World Cup."
Daniel who is the son of former Enyimba goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba was part of the team that was victorious at the Rahmat tournament in Kano.
