The president of the Republic of Tanzania President Samia Suluhu is in the country on an official visit. The 5th and the first woman president in Tanzania arrived in Kenya on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
Immediately after she was ushered in by the Foreign cabinet secretary Ambassador Raychelle Omamo and State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena at the JKIA, she began her trip to State House Nairobi.
Suluhu arrived at State House Nairobi few minutes past 12:30 where she was officially welcomed by President Uhuru.
Photos shared by State House Kenya showed the two leaders happily greeting each other both in Masks and observing social distance.
However, Kenyans noticed a change in Tanzanian President clothing. While being ushered in the country at the JKIA, Samia was wearing a Dark Brown Hijab and her clothes was entirely brown.
But at State House, the Tanzanian President seems to have changed her clothes before meeting the president.
She was seen wearing a light purple hijab and her clothes were dark brown, very different from her earlier clothes. In addition, her shoes were black while meeting President Uhuru compared to yellow shoes she was wearing.
