As Chelsea's ownership climbed down from plans to join a breakaway European Super League, Chelsea climbed into the top 4 of the English Premier League with a far-from-impressive scoreless draw against the Seagulls

Thomas Tuchel's men were stifled inside Stamford Bridge, barely creating a clear-cut opportunity against Graham Potter's side who nearly snatched win in the final fifteen minutes when Ex-Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck struck the crossbar.

England defender Ben White was red carded in Injury time for the Seagulls after collecting a 2nd yellow card.

The Blues only genuine chance came in the twenth minute when Robert Sanchez made a point-blank stop from Morocco Midfieder Hakim Ziyech after a Adam Webster mistake in a dangerous area.

The point moved Thomas Tuchel's side above the Hammers on goal difference and into 4th place, the final UEFA Champions League qualification spot. Chelsea will face West Ham Next in the English Premier League and will be looking to win the match in order to keep their UEFA Champions League hopes alive.
