Nigerian Defender Scores First Goal for Madrid CFF


Nigerian veteran defender, Osinachi Ohale scored her first goal for Spanish side, Madrid CFF though they lost 2-4 to Granada Tenerife on Saturday afternoon. The defender arrived the Spanish Iberdrola club from Roma in Italy

After her stellar performances for Roma, she got a chance to return to Spain from where she went to Italy. Ohale opened scoring for the Madrid side in the 16th minute for her first goal for the club

Ohale's goal was cancelled in the 43rd minute by Murphy Pleuler and they fell behind in the 47th minute before Murphy Pleuler got her second goal of the game

It was a game that saw two Nigerians in action for Madrid CFF as Super Falcons midfielder, Rita Chikwelu was in action and both players got yellow cards. Ohale was replaced in the 88th minute while Rita Chikwelu played the entire duration of the game

Madrid CFF is closer to Champions League qualification and have an away game against Valencia
