The present Edo state Governor Godwin Obaseki and his predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole has finally met for the first time since the victory of his successor. Despite the tussle for power between these two individuals, they met recently on Saturday 6th, March, and exchange pleasantries with both having elbow to elbow greetings in compliance which Covid-19 rules which suggests that they both have resolved their differences.
Governor Godwin Obaseki said that he does not have anything personal against Oshiomohle. He continued by saying that although he does not like his politics, but he has not done anything personal against him. The governor then finally said that both of them are interacting with the interest of the country and the development of the community.
Oshiomohle hailed his successor, Obaseki and shower praises on him, calling him his brother and friend. He was the one who opposed the reelection of Obaseki as the governor of Edo state on the platform of APC before went to the PDP and won the election making him the governor for the second time.
