When it come to money, everybody is greedy no matter how much they have. Since it is a well known fact that everyone loves money, scammers have used this opportunity to defraud people who are too greedy, of their hard earned money. They use different method - sometimes phishing for your bank details, but most times, using money doubling schemes. Few days back, a man gave out N100,000 to online scammer after they promised him to double it. See the next thing he did.
An unidentified man walked into an Access Bank at Chevron insisting he must collect his N100,000 or a million naira which he was promised. It wowed customers as well as staffs at the bank and when asked what had happened, he said he got a call from someone who claimed to be Access Bank representative. This anonymous representative told him that if he sends a hundred thousand naira, he'll be given a million naira in about two hours.
He quickly transferred the money to this representative and after hours of waiting, he called severally but didn't get any reply. It then dawned on him that he had been scammed, so he went to an Access Bank branch at Chevron to ask for his money.
Ladies and gentlemen, do not be carried away by these money doubling schemes here and there. Work hard and invest in a legit business to reap benefits tomorrow.
What do you think the bank should do in this case?
