A J.H.S student of soul clinic international school, cantonment in Accra,Ghana has been awarded a fully funded scholarship after an interview carried out by a CNR reporter. Jennifer Anum as the student according to CNR said , it has been tedious and difficult for some students like her to join the online classes during this pandemic. She added that ,she has no smartphone to talk of a television to join the online classes. This show vividly that she wasn't taking part in the online classes. Despite the said student being in this situation,she still find time to study on her own with the hope that things are going to be in order since this virus won't stay forever.
According to the news,a man's heart was touched and he bought a television set for her so that she can watch educational programmes online if the virus still continue spreading and the needs arise for an online classes again.
When the headmaster of soul clinic international school was contacted, he stated that ,this interview carried out by a CNR reporter has touched their director's heart and the school have decided to give her a fully funded scholarship which includes,free school uniforms,no payment of school fees, school materials and the necessary things needed for her educational journey.
Jennifer Anum as the student,said ,she is very glad for the scholarship been offered to her,she also appreciated the support from other people. She was also not expecting something like that after the interview by a CNR reporter. The mother of this brilliant student was also grateful to this news about her daughter since her prayer was always that God should help her get enough money to cater for her daughter's education. The woman said that she sells charcoal to support Jennifer Anum in her education.
