The latest intelligence have been revealed showing the most popular presidential candidate between Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance's Raila Odinga and Dr William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza Alliance. The figures were released by President Uhuru Kenyatta's close ally and vice chairman of Jubilee Party David Murathe.
In a TV interview on K24's Punchline, Mr Murathe said the popularity of UDA presidential candidate in Mount Kenya region was dwindling as ODM leader climbed steadily in terms of popularity.
'Like they say, The yellow color throughout the country was an undercoat. Now we are painting the country blue for Azimio which is the final coat.' Mr. Murathe said.
He gave evidence of their findings having been informed by professional opinion polls and Intelligence reports. On the report, he said the DP Ruto was neck to neck with the former prime minister in Mount Kenya region in last month while this month's report has shown a Raila lead with possible national results of 65% agaist Dr Ruto's 35% by the time the country gets to August nineth general elections.
