Otumfour 'splashes' money on Kotoko players

The owner of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Otumfuor Osei Tutu has released an amount of seven hundred and one thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc 7.1b) to the players of Kumasi Asante Kotoko as their signing on fees.

It would be recalled that the players of Kotoko were invited by Otumfour to his palace few weeks ago.

During the meeting, the players were given the opportunity to air their concerns and amongst them was their sitting signing on fees.

The players were given assurances that the money will be settled hence the release of such amount

Otumfuor's Ankobea Hene Baffuor kwame Kusi confirmed it to Light FM Sports in Kumasi.

The management and the board secured a decent apartment for the players a week ago to give them comfort.

With these juicy packages, the players are expected to do their best and are expected to win the league.

Kotoko is currently on the top of the league log with 34 points
