Nigerian government warns residents against falling for messages and emails from job scammers


Sequel to the kind of messages and emails, which residents have been receiving, concerning the submission of CV for federal government appointments, the secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha have advised Nigerian residents against acknowledging any form of invitation to submit Curriculum Vitae in respect to getting appointments into government parastatals accross the country.

In a statement issued by the Director Information Mr Willie Bassey on Tuesday, who is the director of information for the office of the SGF. He talked about the false information around social media and other messaging platforms, asking residents to submit CVs for a sum of money to a desk which is non-existent at the SFG’s office for appointments.

He revealed that the news circulating was just a desperate attempt by fraudsters at scamming people at all costs, they also put out an advert about an intention of the government to procure medical diagnostic equipments.

He revealed that his office had no use for such equipments and as such, have not put out any adverts and warned culprits to desist from such lies in a bid to scam people otherwise they'll dance to the music of the law.
