In an interview with KTN News on Sunday evening, Kagwe hinted of joining politics in 2022 but affirmed that at the moment he is focusing to ensure that he and his colleagues at the Ministry deliver the best health services.
"...I would like to focus and concentrate. At the moment, I wish to ensure health is transformed and that we put a smile to the faces of Kenyans.." said Mutahi.
Earlier claims had it that Mutahi was eyeing to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta as Mount Kenya kingpin and contest for the Gubernatorial post in Nyeri County.
He previously served as the fifth Member of Parliament for Mukurweini Constituency in Nyeri before winning the Senatorial position in 2013.
