All over the world,it is considered a criminal offense to disclose top secrets and runnings of government to unauthorized persons or groups for both security and appropriation purposes.

One of Cross River's leading online platform "CrossRiverWatch" has reported this morning may 12th 2020 that the cross River state Governor senator professor Ben Ayade has ordered for the immediate arrest of some top civil servants in the state for disclosing controlled information to the public without due clearances .

The names of the officers were not mentioned as their identity could not have been ascertained as of the time of filling this report but suggestions have it that one of the aide to the governor Mr Iyali peter is also linked with the leaked documents.

When charged to court and found guilty, they may spend considerable years in prison according to the laws of Nigeria.

Governor Ben Ayade is not new to controversies as he was accused in 2019 of masterminding the arrest of the publisher for the Cross River Watch over some publications he made,an action he denied attributing Agba Jalingo's arrest to the federal government.
