The 2022 general elections are just around the corner with politicians from different regions have been running up and down to try and find amicable solutions to their deteriorating political careers.

The biggest debate in the last few days has been whether to allow MCAs and MPs to Vie in 2022 without degrees.

The law was passed in 2010 which cites a Degree as a requirement for one to Vie for the seat of MP and MCA. The law was suspended in the last two general elections up to 2022. The issue has raised lots of debates with leaders clashing over whether to suspend the law again.

Controversial Budalangi Member of Parliament Raphael Wanjala has finally weighed in on the debate. According to Wanjala, Jesus did not go to school and yet people call him leader.

According to him the issue of degrees should be abolished for good.

Meanwhile, share with us your thoughts on the matter kindly.
