When the performance of a team goes down, the team is subjected to public ridicule and criticism. From the defence of the team through to the midfield and the attack will be under pressure.
When the Kotoko team was leading the race with four points, all hailed the team and predicted them as runaway leaders of the League.
Last weekend games brought out a new twist to the league as they are followed by their rival Accra Hearts of Oak.
This has turned the tables and the team that was praised is now taking in criticism from a angles. Among the players to be criticised is Razak Abalora.
Opoku Afriyie of Light FM has called on the goalkeeper to buck from his recent dip in form.
"It is of great concern to the supporters and the technical team. Abolora was a free agent and Kotoko needed a second goalkeeper but getting him was needless.
"For now Abalora is the best in this country but he is not up to the standard of the Black Stars. The mistakes he is making is retrogressing the team. The kind of goals he concedes will be saved by any goalkeeper in the team."
