Kesses MP Swarup Mishra could not hold back his tears today after he visited his constituency. The parliamentarian has not been in good terms with most of Eldoret politicians and the larger Uasin Gishu county. This is because the Jubilee Party elected Mp has refused to join UDA and support William Ruto.
It seems the residents have a different view from that of their leaders. They turned up in huge numbers for Mishra's thanksgiving. As the term ends for parliamentarians, most are holding elaborate thanksgiving ceremonies to thank the electorate for giving them the honor to represent them in parliament.
Mishra represents a constituency that is considered Ruto's strongholds. Kesses is located just a few kilometers from Eldoret town. He has been repeatedly ranked among the best performing parliamentarians in terms of CDF utilisation. From today's reception, it seems the people truly appreciate what Mishra has done to them.
