Solomon Quainoo is one of the greatest Ghanaian pilot after the late Flight Lieutenant J.J Rawlings. Pilot Solomon Quainoo was born in Ghana . He completed his secondary school education at Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS) in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He also furthered at the University of Ghana (Legon). He studied Mathematics, Physics and Geology. So after his education in Ghana, he moved to the United Kingdom (UK) to live with his family. He earned a master’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Kingston University in London and after that, he was trained as a pilot at the Oxford Aviation Training School.

On 2nd October 2018, it was announced that he was the first Ghanaian to fly the world’s biggest passenger aircraft, Airbus A380 from Dubai to Accra. He said this is the greatest achievement in his life time. He was also awarded Aviation man of the Year in West Africa during the 2019 edition of the Balafon Awards. Currently I think that he is the best pilot in West Africa.
