Dutch Referee Danny Makkelie has been appointed to oversee Real Madrid-Chelsea Clash in Semi-finals of Champions League Competition.
Makkelie who doubles as a police inspector has been a referee since 2011. His notable skills throughout his career saw him being appointed to officiate the 2020 UEFA Europa League final between Sevilla and Inter Milan.
The much-awaited clash will take place on Tuesday at 10 pm with Real Madrid hosting Chelsea in their reserve stadium Estadio Alfredo as their official Santiago Bernabeu stadium is reportedly undergoing some renovation.
It's their first meeting in the history of the UEFA Champions League and with both teams currently being on top of their game, it's no doubt that we headed for one of the most entertaining matches of the century.
