6 Things Ghanaians Hate About President Akufo Addo's Government

President Nana Akufo Addo's administration was founded on the promise of change, but years later, many Ghanaians are dissatisfied with aspects of the president's administration.

I take you through the list which includes:

Family and Friends Government

Family and friends dominating Akufo Addo's government, this issue is the most disturbing of all, His Excellency President Akufo Addo has been blames for. Since Nkrumah's time head or state or president have always surrounded their governance with family and friends and Akufo Addo does same. Ghanaians are not pleased with this.

Changing Basic School Curriculum Without Textbooks

Teachers across the country would have voted against Akufo Addo on any day if elections were to be held again in this country called Ghana. Did you know? After a year, Basic Schools textbooks are still not in after the former education minister called for a change in the curriculum. This is the biggest scam of Akufo Addo.

High Unemployment Rate

The Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) , the country's top statistical agency, has revealed that Nigeria's unemployment rate will rise to 33.3 percent in Q4 2020, up from 27.1 percent in Q2 2020. This is being monitored by the current president, and Ghanaians are not pleased.

Others may disagree with me and blame the high unemployment rate to the novel coronavirus pandemic but the truth remains that most Ghanaian youth are unemployed and the government must solve it. We voted for good governance and that is all we expect and not excises or blame games.

Poverty in Ghana

The country's poverty rate appears to be rising. Indeed, it is estimated that nearly 40% of the country's population will be poor by 2020. Many Nigerians are dissatisfied with the situation.

Insecurity in Ghana

General insecurity appear to have gained traction in recent years, and this has led to widespread dissatisfaction with the current administration. There isn't a month in the country that goes by without someone being killed. Some may be attributed to the high dependency rate or poor financial state that Ghana finds herself in.

The current energy situation in Ghana is one key things that has got Ghanaians talking and lashing at Akufo Addo led government. This situation is new so I will not talked much about it.
