Political analyst Herman Manyora, reveals both Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his Aman I National Congress Party counterpart Musalia Miudavadi will be unable to garner more than one million votes in the August elections if they each vote alone.
According to a video posted on Manyora's YouTube channel, the two will only receive considerable support from their respective groups, the Kamba and Luhya, if they band together as OKA.
Kalonzo can only obtain 600,000 votes out of the two million for the Kamba community, according to the University of Nairobi lecturer, while Mudavadi will get 200,000 votes from his Luhya group, and with other backing from different communities, his votes can't exceed half a million.
"Kalonzo and Mudavadi are well aware that they would not be able to win the president in 2022. If these two run together, their votes will be split, with some voting for Raila and others not voting at all "Manyora Stated.
Manyora went on to say that Mudavadi is the finest candidate to represent the OKA coalition as a presidential candidate in the August elections.
