Celebrated gospel minister and television host Janet Kambua Mathu has once again spoken after quitting Royal Media Services' Citizen Tv. Kambua hosted her last Sunday morning program; Rauka on 16th January 2022, ending her 12-year stint on screen.

The singer, who is married to pastor Jackson Mathu has maintained that there is a purpose for everything and time for every purpose. On her social media platform, she added that it is good for one to do what they love and also consider the impact they have had on others.

She said, “To every thing there's a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. I’ve taken my time to read through your comments and my heart is truly blessed. It’s one thing to do what you love, it’s another to know what impact you have had.”

The alumnus of Kianda primary and Lukenya Academy thanked God for having given her the opportunity to minister to the people over the years and prayed for blessings to her fans promising to journey together with them.

“I am truly grateful to God for the honor of ministering to you over the years. May you be abundantly blessed as we continue to journey together.”

Last Sunday, the 'Bado Nasimama' hitmaker bade bye to her fans in an emotional farewell, thanking them for walking by her side.

“Thank you all so much for the love. My heart is filled with gratitude for the many years you’ve allowed me into your homes on Sunday mornings! Allow me to take a bow as that 12 year season ends, and I trust God for the next.” she said.

It is not clear whether the singer will be joining another TV station or taking a different course.
