Nigerian-born striker and former AFC Bournemouth football club of England star, Arnaut Danjuma was in action on Wednesday night for Villarreal in their second game of the Group F UEFA Champions League ties against Manchester United at the Old Trafford.

The football maestro was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous game and he was able to shine.

Arnaut Danjuma was incredible in the game as he contributed his quota but his efforts were not enough to save his side from the disappointing defeat, as they lost narrowly with two goals to one scoreline at full time after conceding a late minute goal.

Arnaut Danjuma in the game created a brilliant assist for his team's only goal of the night which was the opening goal in the thrilling encounter.

The first half of the game was such a balanced one between the two sides as there was nothing to separate them going into the half time break which ended goalless draw.

Paco Alcacer in the 53rd minute opened the scoring sheet for the Yellow submarines to make it one nil after receiving a brilliant assist from Arnaut Danjuma, before Alex Telles got levelled for the host in the 60th minute to make it 1-1.

After several attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the night, all were not successful until the 90+5 minutes when Cristiano Ronaldo got on the score sheet for the host to make it two goals to one at full time.

With the disappointing result of the night for the visitor, they will now be hoping to be back to winning in their next fixture, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
