Nord 5G will be the OnePlus's first mid-ranger since the infamous OnePlus X. According to recent campaigns the phone is expected to be available in Europe and India first at a cost lower than $500 with limited pre-orders. OnePlus is also organizing virtual pop-up events in several countries, to allow users the opportunity to purchase the Nord first hand. The launch of the OnePlus Nord is happening later today, July 21.
So far, the company and a couple of other popular tipsters have published some key specifications of the forthcoming OnePlus Nord ahead of its launch. And here is what to expect.
The OnePlus Nord will have a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with the new standard 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio with a pixel resolution of 2400 X 1080 mega pixels. It will have Gorilla Glass protection, in-display fingerprint reader, and dual punch-hole camera set up in the front.
The dual punch-hole camera setup at the top left will have a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor for selfies. On the main camera end, it will have a quad-camera setup that will include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with OIS and EIS. Along with it, you will have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with 119-degree FOV, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
It will be powered by Snapdragon 765G 5G and will have up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of storage. The OnePlus Nord will run in Android 10-based OxygenOS 10.
