The Health Minister, Kwabena Agyeman Manu has finally revealed how much the country has spent so far on COVID-19. He details how the country has managed the novel coronavirus so far since the first case recorded in the country.

The Health Minister was speaking to the media on Sunday, 13th February 2022 during a press briefing organized by the Ministry of Information.

" It's not only the world cup who gave us some money. Donors, multilateral and bilateral donors gave us a lot of donations. When it comes to PPE's, at some point, we bought around 30million especially when school reopened. We bought different kinds of medicines for our treatment centers." The Health Minister mentioned.

He also went on to mention that "we bought some hospital equipment. We needed to create ICU for hospitals without one and all of those came with a lot of money. So, we spent over 3 million dollars in the fight against COVID-19 in 2021"
