The former Prime Minister Hon Raila Amollo Odinga has alleged that the deputy president William Samoei Ruto has sensed defeat and that is why he is putting blames on the top government officials saying that they are planning to interfere with the polls.
Addressing Vihiga county leaders, Raila said that he has been fighting for electoral transparency for a very long time and he can't allow such thing to happen to our state.
He said that the deputy president William Samoei Ruto must respect the IEBC and any independent bodies as they are exercising everything possible to allow a peaceful election.
The crowd bursted into cheers as they made it clear that they will rally behind the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo despite the battle for Western region supremacy after the Amani National Congress party leader Hon Musalia Mudavadi and the Ford-k party leader Hon Moses Wetangula decamped to join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance team.
