North Eastern leaders endorse Raila's 2022 bid through Azimio La Umoja movement

Former prime minister Raila Odinga today hosted several leaders at Serena hotel for consultative meeting. The leaders were drawn from different political parties allied to Azimio La Umoja movement.

Several issues affecting the region and the region's political landscape were discussed in the meeting. The region consists of Garissa, Wajir, Marsabit, Turkana and Mandera counties.

The leaders vowed to support Raila Odinga 2022 presidential under Azimio La Umoja movement. They stated that they're in full board of Azimio La Umoja movement.

Leaders in attendance from the region includes finance cabinet secretary Ukur Yatani, Wajir women representative Fatuma Gedi, Education CAS Yusuf Hassan Noor, Samburu West legislator, Garissa senator Abdul Haji, Mandera governor Ali Roba among other elected leaders and professionals.

Raila Odinga officially launched his 2022 presidential campaigns at Thika stadium last Saturday. He vowed to popularize his bid in different parts of the country.
