The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will on Wednesday arrive in Imo State capital Owerri.

According the statement released by the Special Adviser/Chief of protocol to the Governor of Imo state Senator Hope Uzodinma, Bright Nwelue, Osinbajo will be commissioning a road project, among which include the Dick-tiger road up to Methodist junction and connecting Chukwuma Nwaoha.

A reliable source told Vanguard News that the Vice President will use this opportunity to visit the the scene of the last Monday's attacks on Police Command Headquarters, Correctional Center in the State.

Suspected Armed Bandits Believe To Herdsmen Attack Three Female Farmers In Ekiti State:

Some people suspected to be herdsmen have attacked three female farmers in Irele-Ekiti, Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State on Tuesday.

This development is coming just few weeks after two farmers were shot dead by suspected herdsmen in Isaba-Ekiti, in the same local government area.

It was gathered that the attackers were six numbers. Reports have also informed the two farmers who are all female sustained a life-threatening injuries in Tuesday's attack on their farm.
