Security Operatives Destroy ESN Camp In Imo, Rescue Female Inspector That Was Held Captive

The joint operatives of Nigerian Army, Police and Nigerian Air Force have destroyed one of the Camps of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) located at Amii-Akabo, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.

According to the report on PUNCH, One of the ESN gang members, Osinachi Stanley who was recently arrested alive by the operatives, led the troops to the camp where a female police inspector held captive was rescued. The operatives also recovered some rifles that were stolen by the hoodlums from the police stations they attacked in the state.

Speaking on the incidence, one of the indigenes of the community disclosed to news men that no fewer than 10 houses were destroyed by the security operatives during the visit, while the community members fled away in fear.

This attack came after the recent killing of the ESN Squad leader, popularly known as Dragon and some of his gang members.

Dragon and his gang members were killed few days ago on a gun duel with the police, while they were on a mission to attack Imo State Police headquarters.

During the gun duel, the police was able to capture some of the hoodlums alive, of which Osinachi Stanley was one of them.

Meanwhile the police had maintained that Dragon and his gang members had being responsible for 70% of the attacks that had been going on in Imo State.
