Owing to the rising cases of insecurity brought by the Fulani Herdsmen, the Bayelsa state government has issued all Fulani Herdsmen in Yenegoa, to leave the state capital in two weeks. It was reported that this quit notice was given by Bayelsa state livestock management committee.
The commissioner of Agriculture in Bayelsa state made this statement to news men on Monday after they had a meeting. The commissioner revealed that the committee would impound cows, and their headers as movement by foot whether in the day or night would not be tolerated again, after the two weeks ultimatum elapses.
The commissioner further stated that if they want to ranch there is land available for them.
