World number one, Novak Djokovic has admitted that he has issues with how the ball bounces differently after service for each side of the court.

The Serb breezed through to the second round, halting Tennys Sandgren in an easy 6-2,6-4,6-2 tie, set his house to face Uruguay's, Pablo Cuevas.

The 33-year-old had played his first night session which led to a further delay locker room but eventually got the deserved victory against the American at Chatrier.

He got issues with the ball bouncing routine, explaining to former world number one Mats Wilander that he strived to improve daily on the bouncing habits of the ball

The bouncing habits have frustrated the nine-time Australian Open winner.

"I don’t decide how many times I’m going to bounce the ball" he started

“I know it’s annoying for a lot of people and sometimes it’s annoying for me – I wish I could bounce it less and just get into the rhythm but sometimes, especially if it’s a tough moment and I’m a little bit tight and under pressure, I might bounce it a bit more," he added

He further said he has been impatient on the right and accurate time to 'toss the ball' and have the optimal tempo, concluding he has no exact time.
