We thought that it is just a virus that come and goes but that has been proven not to be the case at all. Here we still in a lock down two years later. Our government seems to be dedicated in keeping us in this lockdown for a long time. If they had any plans for people to start living their lives normally, they would have ended this state of disaster.

In the last 24 hours the number of new cases recorded is 2 597 and this is a positivity rate of 10.6%. The number of death recorded is 25 taking the death toll to 93,364.

Due to the ongoing audit exercise by the National Department of Health (NDoH), there may be a backlog of COVID-19 mortality cases reported. Today, the NDoH reports 161 deaths and of these, 64 occurred in the past 24 – 48 hours. This brings the total fatalities to 93,278 to date.
